Ready to get started with Toby's Pet Care?
The Meet & Greet is the first step in starting pet care services with Toby's Pet Care. In this 30-45 minute consultation we will cover the following:
- Get acquainted with you and your pets
- Get a tour of your home (i.e. where the litter box is, where the food is located, favorite hiding spots, etc.)
- Develop a customized pet care plan for your pets based on their needs
- Transfer keys and answer any questions you may have
This fee covers all administrative costs related to your account as well as your sitter's time. The service fee is due at the time of your scheduled Meet & Greet.

Our two dogs are our kids, but after we brought home our new human kid, I needed a few weeks to recover & couldn't take the dogs on their daily walk. Is a Meet & Greet necessary?
Yes, a Meet & Greet is absolutely necessary prior to service. This is a 30-45 minute consultation in where we will get acquainted with yourself and your pets and go over their routine to adequately provide the right care. It's usually best to schedule your Meet & Greet at least one to two weeks in advance prior to your traveling date. For last minute requests, we cannot guarantee availability for a Meet & Greet and/or services.
Can you tell me more about the registration fee?
The $20 registration fee covers your sitter's time and access to our scheduling system. You are also given access to our mobile application for both Android and iPhone.
You may pay this fee by check or cash at the Meet & Greet or make an online payment through your client portal. If making a payment online, your registration fee must be paid prior to our meeting.
Do you offer pet boarding?
No, Toby's Pet Care provides in your home pet sitting, meaning we come to your home. Most pets suffer anxiety when taken to a kennel, and so when you choose to hire a pet sitter your pets get to stay in a comfortable and familiar place. Not only that, but they get to keep their regular routine and are not exposed to any potential illnesses. My pet is a little skittish and nervous around new people. Will you still provide service?
If your pet is simply a little skittish, we are more than happy to work with you and your pet to get him/her to feel comfortable with us. If additional visits to socialize with them are needed, they will be charged at the usual standard rate of $30 for 25-30 minutes. However, if your pet is aggressive and has bitten someone in the past, due to liability issues, we cannot provide service.
